My physical fitness journey began over 25 years ago. It started with a trainer who challenged me at every training session. Those sessions weren’t easy, simply because I wasn’t used to going beyond what was comfortable for me. However, I stuck with it, and I’m glad I did. Witnessing the positive effects of how my body changed with exercise and proper diet made me a believer. So much so, I studied and received my personal trainer certification. I knew I wanted to share my experience and use my knowledge to help others in their physical fitness journey.

Another thing. I’m a runner. It wasn’t something I set out to be. My girlfriend Vikki said, “Charlene we should do this.” With little thought, I said ok to my first organized run - the Marine Corps Marathon. What a challenge! Training was hard, and sometimes downright grueling. In the process, I learned what it meant to really endure, and how important and necessary it is to tap into your mental strength. My goal was to finish the entire 26.2 miles, and I did it! As a matter of fact, right after that marathon, I got the running bug. I have completed enough marathons to become a member of the exclusive Marine Corps Marathoners’ Club! And I’m still running.

I’m very passionate about what I do. As your trainer, I’ll bring that same passion to every workout session. Together, we’ll change your habits, change your mindset, and change your life. I’ll help you reach your weight loss, weight management, and nutritional goals. In the process, you’ll increase your strength and endurance. Ultimately, you’ll adapt to a weight management lifestyle.
